Show me the Honey!

True paradise can't be that accessible right? Well in the case of Ilha do Mel, which translates as 'Honey Island' that is certainly true. Seven hours and three modes of transport later, including one of the most exciting train journeys in Brazil, from Curitiba to the port of Paranagua, I arrived to this enchanting, remote island. With no ATM and no cars, it's easy to slip into island life. I spend the next two days exploring blissfully quiet beaches along scenic coastal walks, gobsmacked by the raw beauty of the landscape & feeling rather smug I have it (almost) to my little old self.
